Ray Bradbury has written a story called “The Last Night of the World.”

In history, there is a conversation between husband and wife. Husband asks wife:
- What would you do if you knew that today is the last night of the world, and the woman answers him?
- I don’t know, I’ve never thought about it.
Husband says to wife:
“I don’t know what’s going on, it’s just a feeling.” Sometimes it scares me, sometimes I am not scared at all, but on the contrary, I relax. I have recently had a dream. My dream seemed to be approaching the end of the world, and a voice prompted me about it, no voice of any kind I can remember, but in any case it said that everything would end here on planet Earth. The next day I didn’t even think about it, but then, when I got to work, at noon, I noticed Stan Wills looking out the window and asking, ‘Interesting to know what you’re thinking,’ and he replied, ‘I’m a dream this night and before he could tell his dream, I had already understood what it was. I wanted to say it, but she told me and I listened to her. - Was that the same dream?
- Exactly the same. I told Stan that I had the same dream. But he was not surprised, on the contrary, he was very quiet.
“Do you believe in that dream?” - Yes, more than ever.
- And when will it end? I mean, the world.
“It will be overnight.” When the night comes, it will bring with it the end of the world. This tragedy will last only twenty-four hours. Today, one woman in the streets was telling a dream, and I thought it coincided. In this story, the husbands did not fear death, but went on with their daily lives, so happy that they did not even pay attention to the fact that soon the end of the world was coming.
